1. Set some attainable goals
To get the best from your game in 2019 try to think about (and write down) goals that will push you a little, but are attainable enough that it will not be stressful; these can be handicap, swing changes or even improving course strategy.
2. Smile more on the course
Smiling, being happy and relaxed on the course can really help your attitude and your score, it sounds simple but this game is frustrating!
3. Practice your game more
Remember to improve your game and your score you must put time into your practice. This practice can be concentrating on course management, technique, short game, mental strength, and processes or even working on visualisation.
4. Take more lessons
The best players in the world take coaching advice every week, so why don’t you? This game is so difficult we all need all the help we can get.
Find a PGA professional you get on with who talks your language (you understand their coaching techniques) and take regular coaching on all parts of your game – then practice between lessons!
5. Join a club on your terms
